Year 6 took full advantage of being so close to the beach with a visit there providing a great hook into their new class book: Kensuke's Kingdom. Mr Batsone read the first chapter while they all enjoyed sea views and debated whether they would leave school/home to sail around the world (like the main character).

Years 1 and 2 enjoyed a morning of focus sketching in Forest School, and sawing wooden discs on which to draw wildflowers on the back.

Calling all Old Shorehamers - Are you up for a challenge? 15th June - come along to our annual cricket and rounders match, teams of all ages and abilities welcome. Come along to play, spectate or just hang out; families welcome as there will be fun games for little ones, and afternoon tea provided by our own wonderful catering team. Year 4 has enjoyed time in Forest School identifying different plants and animals. They also had fun playing human chess and the Owl and the Mouse.
